NYS Fireman's Museum On Saturday October 20th, 2007, Chapter 37 took to the road on their first road trip. Leaving the Esopus Firehouse at 10:00 am with a destination of the NYS Fireman's Museum in Hudson, NY, the sunny day in the mid-70's, gave us some beautiful fall foliage to look at, as the route traveled, took us through parts of four counties: Ulster,
Green, Columbia and Dutchess. We managed to finish lunch at the right time, missing the one passing shower that was on the radar. That same storm gave us a spectacular rainbow to look back at while crossing the Kingston-Rhinecliff Bridge on the way home.
A good time was had by all who went - 6 members: Mike Doscher, Josh Himelstein, Charlie Mutz, Brian Phillips, Al Tyler, and Rich Valentine. A rider from Chapter 33 was able to make the trip with us, but waited in Hudson for three of his fellow members to catch up and ride home with him. Two additional guests riders also made the trip with us.
